Phase 3 Pilot - Proving Feasibility
The RBTP Knowledge Base is evolving weekly as part of our pilot programs with RBA members. We’d love your input — submit feedback or help shape the protocol in real time by joining a pilot.
Objectives: In phase 3, we’ll extend the pilot to multiple tiers of your supply chain in a stand-alone model. Our aim is to demonstrate scalability by issuing facility‑level credentials, integrating any existing credential schemes you use, and testing advanced features such as selective disclosure to balance transparency with confidentiality. We’ll also develop a comprehensive implementation plan and ROI analysis for your executive team, along.
Process: We’ll onboard additional upstream actors and leverage our OSH platform to issue real facility credentials across several nodes. Your suppliers will generate authentic product passports that travel through a parallel system alongside your core infrastructure. We’ll run selective‑disclosure proofs‑of‑concept, hold periodic retrospectives to refine integration approaches and address any performance bottlenecks as they arise.
Commitment: Every phase 3 pilot will be unique and require bespoke approaches and solutions. RBA’s delivery partner will work with you to develop a delivery approach and custom pricing model.
Deliverables: By the end of this pilot, you’ll receive:
- Facility‑level verifiable credentials spanning multiple supply‑chain tiers
- Integrated product passports demonstrating handoffs across your network
- A selective‑disclosure proof‑of‑concept showcasing advanced privacy controls
- A detailed feasibility report and business‑case deck, including architecture recommendations, cost estimates and projected ROI
Learning: by the end of this phase, we want to be illuminating several lightbulb moments:
- Eliminating duplicated supply chain assurance practice: Demonstrate how credentials can satisfy multiple overlapping regulatory and customer requirements.
- Fast, cheap and certain compliance: Scale up automated validation and reporting across more actors and supply chains.
- Trust is more valuable than data: Reinforce trust anchors and chains of credentials as more parties rely on them.
