Overview
Universal is a materials company that has a cobalt fine refiner, a precursor cathode active material (pCAM) production site, and a cathode active material (CAM) production site. Cobalt intermediates produced by the fine refiner and, subsequently, pCAM site are used, with externally sourced materials, for the ultimate production of CAM.
