This scenario addressed how the different types of digital credentials are connected and verify claims made about the supply chain. All individual participant value chain maps were used to form multiple tiers of a battery supply chain.

Lessons Learned/Conclusions from Roundtable:

• Validated key items for RBTP proof of concept:
  • Data fields available in the Digital Product Passports (DPPs), Digital Facility Records (DFRs) and Digital Conformity Credentials (DCCs) broadly meet downstream participants' business requirements
  • Digital Product Passports support different traceability models, including mass balance
  • Digital credentials are linked in the way that pilot participants expect
• RBTP addresses challenges in lack of standardization in data capture & reporting
• RBTP is valuable to upstream & midstream actors in communicating conformance statements & attributes about their sites and products with downstream
